You may make an appointment to see any doctor that you wish, but if you need to be seen urgently you will be seen by whichever doctor is available at the time.

Unfortunately, nurse appointments are not available to book online due to the mixture of skill sets & variation in length of appointment required - these must be made by telephone, or in person at reception.

Please note that some appointments are not viewable within your online account, e.g. dedicated diabetic reviews, acupuncture - if you receive a letter giving you appointment times, these override anything you can see online.  If you wish to double-check the details of any such appointment, please feel free to telephone the surgery.

Although we offer appointments within 24 hours of request, it would be appreciated if as much notice as possible is given for routine appointments so that urgent requests may be given priority. If you wish to see the doctor of your choice it may be necessary to wait for more than 24 hours. Please telephone on 01923 261035 for patients registered at our Kings Langley Surgery and 01442 833295 for patients registered at Longmeadow Surgery in Bovingdon.

EMIS online - Patient Access -

We are now able to offer our patients over the age of 16 years the use of a secure website to view, book and cancel appointments as well as view and order prescriptions, see vaccinations and basic demographic details.  All patients need to register to use this service.

You can either:

i)  ask at reception for further details - we will need to see a form of photographic ID such as a driving licence or passport to verify your identity

ii) Visit the website at for more information & to pre-register

Telephone Access

If you feel that you do not actually need to be seen by a doctor, but need medical advice, the doctors and nurses are available during the day to speak to you. Please telephone on either the enquiries or appointment numbers and, if possible, you will be put through to a clinician straight away or given a more suitable time to ring back.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
