Repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are issued for the convenience of patients on long term treatment at the Doctors discretion. At times you will be required to see your usual Doctor to have your medication reviewed before a repeat prescription can be issued.

Except in exceptional circumstances, requests for prescriptions are not taken over the telephone.

Requests for prescriptions may be made in writing:

• On the repeat prescription slip
• Written request by post or fax:
  01923 269629 (for KL) or 01442 834545 (Bov)
• Complete a request slip at the reception desk
• If you are a Kings Langley patient email direct to:- napsurgeryrepeats@nhs.net
  or if you are a Bovingdon patient email direct to:- bovsurgeryrepeats@nhs.net
  You must give your:
              surname & first name
              date of birth
              name of the medication(s) you want
              where you want to collect the prescription from the following:
                          Boots (KL Moss)
                          Boots (KL Kinlochs)
                          Sainsbury (Apsley)
                          Kings Langley Surgery
                          Manor Pharmacy (Bov only)
                          Bovingdon Surgery
  Note: if for any reason we are unable to issue you a prescription - we will advise you via your email address - so please check your mails within 24 > 48hrs of sending

Please allow 2 clear working days for us to process your repeat prescription request. This period may increase where items requested are not on repeat or where your medication review is overdue.
